Story
Chang'e is the Great Dragon's youngest disciple and from a young age, she has demonstrated incredible magical potential, quickly mastering the Great Dragon's greatest spell: the Sacred Satellite. From then on, Chang'e won the eternal love of the Great Dragon. However, Chang'e had an energetic and cheerful personality that gave the Great Dragon quite a few headaches.
Every time the Great Dragon enjoyed a peaceful afternoon, he would most likely smell the rotten stench of trouble and soon enough, some of the servants of the Sanctuary would run up to him, only to tell him that Chang'e had once again gotten into some mischief, either by breaking an ancient vase, very dear to the Great Dragon's collection, or running around with his jade rabbit, making a mess of everything in his path.
Eventually, he realized that his old bones would be trampled in all this ruckus and asked Zilong, his adopted son, to look after Chang'e. The Great Dragon knew that only Zilong's patience could handle Chang'e and also hoped that Zilong's diligent and determined character could help guide Chang'e.
Zilong came to love the dynamic and intelligent little rascal, Chang'e. They often spent countless hours together, practicing magic and finding divine creatures to play with and Zilong would occasionally play silly games with her, even if it meant a complete waste of time, for Zilong. Chang'e also enjoyed spending time with his older brother, Zilong. To make things productive, Zilong started teaching him the art of Kung Fu and other things like meditation and archery. However, Chang'e's favorite part of the day was the end of practice, when Zilong carried her on his back on the way home.
During the Second War of the Planes, Zilong was ordered to aid the wise rulers of the land, traveling between the Land of Dawn. After she left, Chang'e returned to her naughty and childish ways. At one point, the Great Dragon was unsure if there would ever be another day of peace, until something big happened and the servants rushed to him. Chang'e had swallowed all of his Holy Immortality Pills by accident, thinking they were candy. The Great Dragon was furious, transforming into his dragon form, he frightened Chang'e and immediately chased Chang'e from her sanctuary, ordering her to travel to the Planes, aid Zilong and atone for her mistakes, before she could return to Sanctuary.
Even then, the Great Dragon felt compelled to give Chang'e, his precious crescent moon, to protect her. Letting Chang'e go brought peace to the Great Dragon, but not happiness. He hoped she wouldn't consider him too cold and hate him forever. However, Chang'e was excited to venture into the Land of Dawn, which she saw as a place filled with many new things. But above all, she couldn't wait to see her big brother, Zilong, again.

- Chang'e (嫦娥) is based on the moon goddess of Chinese mythology, in which she is the subject of several legends. The large crescent moon halo she rides on is proof of this.
- In the Chinese zodiac, the Rabbit (兔) is the fourth in the 12-year cycle of animals that appear in the Chinese zodiac linked to the Chinese calendar. These are the Lapin years in the 20th and 21st centuries: 1903, 1915, 1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011, 2023, 2035, 2047, 2059, 2071, 2083 and 2095.
- Chang'e's rabbit companion is named Jade.
- Due to a bug, his first skill before rework was able to deal damage to turrets.
- In one of his quotes, Chang'e mentions name = Roger when addressing his fellow rabbits; this is a reference to its wolf form, since wolves are known to prey on many animals, including rabbits. This hostile relationship is one of the most popular relationships in fiction.
- His laugh that can be heard during hero selection for Crimson Moon was reused from his old hero selection quote.

In teamfights, get the shield from Chang'e's 2nd Skill, then use her 1st Skill to poke enemies, and follow up with her Ultimate if the 1st Skill was on target. Chang'e needs to move around during her Ultimate to keep herself safe and make sure the meteors can hit the target.
