About
An independent, open project that is deliberately upfront about its limits.
What the site contains
The full roster, every hero's skins, items, emblems, Battle Spells and the list of patches. This data is extracted automatically from the community wiki every week: a new hero shows up here without anyone having to enter it.
On top of that comes what no extraction will ever produce: a written analysis for some of the heroes — what they actually do, their builds, their counters — a tier list where every placement is justified, and in-depth guides.
What it doesn't contain, and why
No player rankings and no “MMR”. Moonton publishes no official interface: the stats shown here — win, ban and pick rates, counters, builds, trends — come from the community API arena.rone.dev, which aggregates ranked games by rank. Sites that show an “MMR” for Mobile Legends estimate it; they don't read it from anywhere.
Once logged in with the in-game verification code, you see your own profile — season, heroes played, recent matches — read on demand through that same API, for you only. It is neither published nor kept beyond a cache of a few minutes.
The visuals belong to Moonton. Portraits, icons and skin artwork come from the community wiki and are served by this site so that nothing depends on a third-party domain. They remain Moonton's property, are included for illustration purposes, and will be removed at the rights holder's request. The site's visual identity — midnight blue, gold, cut corners — is inspired by the game's without reusing its interface files.
The roundup
The roundup section automatically gathers posts about the game from other sites. It only shows the title, the date and a short excerpt, and always links back to the original publisher: nothing is republished here.
Moonton publishes no official feed — the game's website is an app whose content can't be syndicated. Game updates are therefore reproduced and commented by hand in the patch notes, while the roundup covers what the rest of the web publishes.
The account
It's optional: all content is accessible without logging in. Logging in uses Moonton's official verification code — a four-digit code sent to your in-game mailbox. The site never sees your password: it receives a temporary token, stored in a secure cookie, which you delete when you log out.
No account is created on the site. Your favorite heroes stay in your browser. Only notifications, if you turn them on, keep your browser's push address and your list of favorites on the server: the privacy page details what is stored and how to delete it.
Contribute
The code and content are public. Hero profiles live in typed TypeScript files, articles in Markdown files: you can add a profile or fix a mistake without knowing the rest of the project.
The repository is here. Balance fixes, missing profiles and proofreading are especially welcome.
