Tank tier list: the best Tanks
All 25 Tanks in the game, main or secondary role, ranked by the same rule as the main tier list: win and ban rates, all ranks combined.Learn more
- 25 heroes ranked
- Patch 2.2.16
How this ranking is calculated
The score is win rate + a quarter of the ban rate.
Win rate measures what a hero delivers once picked. Ban rate measures what players fear: it catches heroes too strong to be left open, whose win rate is misleadingly low because they're rarely available.
Pick rate isn't part of the calculation — it measures popularity, not power. It's only used to mark with an asterisk heroes played too rarely for their numbers to be stable.
The ↑ and ↓ arrows under the win rate show its change over seven days in this rank, when it reaches at least 0.2 points.
Ranking across all ranks. The by-rank lists, for their part, cover every lane and every role. All Tanks and their lanes →
Tier S+5
Dominates the patch. Pick or ban.

- Ban
- 34.0 %

Very high victory rate, but over a tiny number of games: the measurement is too fragile to draw a conclusion.
BelerickRoam- Win
- 52.2 %
- Ban
- 56.2 %
- Pick
- 1.7 %
Ranked at the top especially by its bans, among the most frequent in the game; his win rate is good without being exceptional, and both Lesley and Beatrix clearly hinder him.
GlooRoam · EXP Lane- Win
- 54.7 % up 0.4 points in 7 days
- Ban
- 38.9 %
- Pick
- 0.8 %
Banned about every other game and winning when it passes, despite its weakening in patch 2.1.88. Faramis is by far his clearest answer according to the measurements.

- 53.9 %

- 1.2 %
Its effectiveness depends on the partner: its measured duos with Diggie, Floryn or Mathilda are among the strongest gaps in the game. Reinforced in patch 2.1.88, with no details published.

- Ban
- 8.3 %

One of the best win rates among roamers, for a low ban: a safe choice, almost always available in selection.
Tier S5
Very strong in most lineups.

Group commitment which wins especially with support at its side, Mathilda, Floryn, Estes or Rafaela; Marcel remains by far his worst measured opponent.

A missed grappling hook costs an entire rotation; too irregular without vocal coordination.
A tier list measures how forgiving a hero is, not how far they can take you. A mastered C-tier hero beats an S+ hero picked up yesterday.
