Analysis in progress
The data for Belerick is up to date — it comes straight from the wiki. What's missing is the commentary: what the hero actually does, their builds and their counters. That can't be extracted; it has to be written.

Story
Many races have risen or fallen during the long history of the Land of Dawn. Belerick is one of the few who has witnessed all of this throughout the mists of time. When the world was formed, the mysterious Old Ones aided the ancestors as they created all things in this universe. Together, they built the great and massive Heavenly Palace and the myriad of elemental creatures, who would live on as the successors of their bloodlines.
When Belerick was just a sapling, he was chosen by the Ancients and given the essence of life and Mother Nature; this bestowed upon him the powers of intelligent thought, profound wisdom, and the wondrous ability of reincarnation. Under the protection of the Ancients, he lived with the elemental creatures in the Lantis mountain ranges, a place thriving with life and vitality.
However, this happy existence will not last long. The Ancestors left and the Endless War descended on the lands, plunging the Land of Dawn into the throes of fierce battle and massacre: the Ancients retreated into the Heavenly Palace and the elemental creatures thus lost the protection that had once been granted to them. The creatures were left without shelter and killed en masse as the fires of war blazed unceasingly.
They were forced to wander the lands for an entire period. Belerick watched as the Land of Dawn was ravaged by the raging war, with no corner untouched by the fighting. In doing so, Belerick grew from a sapling to a mighty tree. The war had stripped him of his old life and hardened his will; Even though he lost many of his companions, he still refused to give up the hope he had in life. He sought to use his power to the best of his ability to help those weaker than himself. In the latter stages of the Age of Strife, the Ancients who had returned to their celestial palace long ago could no longer bear the pitiful state of the world below and went against the orders of the ancestors by recklessly using the power of the Twilight Orbs to attempt to end the war.
Did you know?
- The name Belerick has no direct real-world meaning, but it could draw inspiration from botanical and mythical themes. It resembles "Beleriand", an ancient and lush land from Lord of the Rings, fitting its guardian of the forest theme. His name could be derived from "bark" or "bel" (a common prefix in fantasy names), further reinforcing his identity as a living tree warrior.
- Its design and abilities resemble treants (tree-like beings in fantasy worlds).
- The old Belerick model is a younger version of the current one.
- His old model is still visible in the hero's intro.
- His "Torched Guardian" skin is the evil version of himself.
- Belerick is considered one of the best heroes when it comes to damage reflection. Its passive, Deadly Thorns, allows it to reflect damage back to attackers, making it one of the best anti-shooter tanks in MLBB.
- Many MLBB players compare Belerick to Groot, as both are giant tree creatures with a protective nature.
- After being indirectly killed by Thamuz, Belerick's skills were retooled to better counter opponents who deal continuous damage, including Thamuz.
- Whether or not it grew specifically to adapt, there are many real cases of plants adapting to specific threats in nature.
