A year and a half ago, the Union of Scholars welcomed a new student into its ranks. Unlike the other newcomers, this young girl named Beatrix seemed to possess extensive knowledge and an astonishing talent for science. In a short time, she has risen head and shoulders above her peers, becoming one of the most promising scholars in the entire Union of Scholars. Even Dr. Rooney, who watched quietly from afar, was impressed by his progress. He believed that if she applied herself to her studies, Beatrix could one day become the greatest scientist Eruditio had ever seen.

However, becoming the best scientist was not something that Beatrix placed great importance on. She was born in Castle Gorge, in the Moniyan Empire, into a merchant family. For generations, his family had already been well established as a wealthy merchant family business in the empire. In order to maintain their extensive trading network, Beatrix's parents often had no choice but to travel all over the Land of Dawn on business, leaving young Beatrix in the care of their loyal butler, Morgan.

Thanks to the financial means and freedom granted by her family, Beatrix spent her free childhood under the devoted care of Morgan. As such, she acquired a penchant for evil and became a stubborn and often temperamental person.

One day, Beatrix's parents returned from the far west, bringing with them a range of Eruditio's advanced gadgets to give to her. Beatrix had long had enough of the mundane and uninteresting toys around her, and so she began to be obsessed with these new things. They sparked in her a deep interest in technology itself. Over the next few years, Morgan regularly shuttled between Eruditio and Castle Gorge to bring Beatrix the latest inventions, which proved to be an extremely expensive undertaking. By studying them tirelessly, Beatrix began to nurture within her an incredible natural talent for science. She digested many complex mechanical concepts and structures as if they were child's play. Before long, she had built her own laboratory within the castle grounds and conducted extensive research into various technologies and weapons.

Beatrix devoted herself to the study of technology, which only deepened her obsession until she reached a bottleneck in her studies. After her 16th birthday, Beatrix packed her bags and headed to Eruditio, where she will seriously pursue her studies. She yearned to learn more about the most advanced technology in the Land of Dawn: Leviathan technologies.

And so Beatrix embarked on a year-long learning quest at Eruditio. The speed with which she absorbed and mastered knowledge was praised by everyone around her. However, his obsession and stubbornness, driven by his thirst for technological knowledge, caused much distress to some union members, who were stuck in their archaic ways and very attached to the rules. She started to get bored of her boring and tedious schedule. She needed a new approach to technology – something wild and unreserved. However, Dr. Rooney's doors and those of the Leviathan Workshop remained firmly closed and closed to her.

To demonstrate her technological prowess, she put forward a wild and imaginative proposition during a debate: that the human body could be connected to communications terminals in order to establish a direct neurological connection with others. Such a sensitive topic bore some resemblance to the ideas propagated by the evil faction of Lab 1718 scholars at the time. Therefore, before she had a chance to finish, Beatrix was interrupted by other Union members and kicked out of the discussion.

She felt unfairly treated and it left her seething with rage. Without saying goodbye, Beatrix left Eruditio and returned to her laboratory in Castle Gorge. With Morgan's help, she used her family's wealth and resources and began to bring her invention concepts to fruition.

About six months had passed and a competition known as "Survival: Nexus" began to host Eruditio. Handy terminals allowed participants to virtually control avatars with just their brainwaves, immersing themselves in a virtual realm. Here they could participate in a tactical competition without real physical harm. The creator of this technological marvel was none other than the student who had left Eruditio six months earlier: Beatrix. Thanks to the huge prize money she had offered to the winner of the competition, scholars and citizens of Eruditio were lining up to participate in "Operation Dawnbreak".

Beatrix watched with joy as her precious project dominated the conservative thinkers of the Scholars' Union. But then disaster struck. The network of terminals she designed was maliciously hacked by the nefarious Lab 1718. Everyone neurologically connected to the system was now under their control, and Lab 1718 stole the "Iron Guardians": an army of robots that had been locked underground, beneath the Eruditio Congress building.

The people trapped in the terminals were linked to these robots. With their consciousness still immersed in virtual battles and ignoring the real world, they led the robot army to wreak destruction on the streets of Eruditio. Ultra-advanced technological capital has been plundered and plunged into an unprecedented crisis.

The remaining scholars joined forces with the city guard of Eruditio, under the command of Dr. Rooney, and retreated to the Leviathan Workshop. Against their previous past, they knew they had to defend the greatest fruits of the city's technological research.

The robots kept popping up and things looked extremely bleak for the Leviathan Workshop. But it was then, at the most crucial moment, that the young and hardworking Beatrix roared into the skies aboard her airship, unleashing enormous, suppressing firepower. She couldn't stand to see these selfish power seekers exploit her own invention to destroy the city.

With Beatrix's help, Eruditio's city guard managed to repel the robotic forces that had besieged the Leviathan Workshop. Together, they charged into the Eruditio Congress building to take control of the robots and the virtual network away from the author Octavius, the mad biochemist. And finally, peace was restored to Eruditio.

Responsible for averting a crisis in Eruditio, Beatrix was finally granted an audience with Dr. Rooney. Under his tutelage, she managed to understand the true essence of technology. In the days that followed, she donated her "Operation Dawnbreak" terminal system to the Scholars' Union and ultimately decided to stay at Eruditio to continue her studies. And this time, the doors of Atelier Leviathan – an embodiment of the pinnacle of technology itself – were no longer closed to Beatrix.
