How it works
These aren't really fonts: each style swaps Latin letters for other Unicode characters that look like them (mathematical symbols, circled letters, full-width characters). Your nickname stays plain text, so it can be copied, pasted and displayed anywhere the device font knows those characters.
Only the letters A to Z and digits change. Accents, spaces and symbols stay as they are, and invisible characters (zero-width spaces, direction marks, blank fillers) are removed: the copied nickname contains nothing you can't see.
What we know about the game's rules
Changing your nickname in Mobile Legends requires a Rename Card, sold in the in-game shop.
Neither Moonton nor the MLBB wiki publishes the allowed length or the list of accepted characters. A third-party guide reports 3 to 16 characters: the counter uses that as a guide and blocks nothing.
We also don't know how the game counts. A “𝐀” is one Unicode character but two UTF-16 units, and the strikethrough style adds one character per letter: the counter shows both measures, and a stylish nickname may hit the limit sooner than a plain one.
A symbol missing from the game's font shows up as an empty box. Without an official list, we can't guarantee a style will be accepted: try a few.

- Why does my nickname show up as boxes?
- The device or game font doesn't include those characters. The rarer the character, the more likely it's missing: try another style or decoration.
- Is my nickname sent anywhere?
- No. The conversion happens in your browser; nothing is sent or stored.
- Can I use these nicknames outside MLBB?
- Yes: they're standard Unicode characters that most apps can display. Screen readers often read them poorly, though: keep that in mind if your teammates use one.
