Analysis in progress
The data for Clint is up to date — it comes straight from the wiki. What's missing is the commentary: what the hero actually does, their builds and their counters. That can't be extracted; it has to be written.

Story
On the desolate border of Moniyan, border with Agelta, there was an ordinary town. The people here lived a peaceful and stable life, far from the hustle and bustle of human society. They worked during the day and in the evening they went to the town tavern to have a few drinks to relax.
Such an orderly and stable life was thanks to Clint, the town sheriff. Clint was a famous fast shooter, blessed with unrivaled marksmanship, and was known for his fastest draw speed. The dedicated Clint always considered the safety of the city his duty. He loved his work and his duty and believed in the fairness and justice of the law. He hated evil as his enemy and had protected the city from all kinds of thieves and bandits for many years. This is why he was loved by the people of the city.
On an ordinary night, Clint went about his daily patrol with his gun as usual. In the middle of his patrol, he suddenly heard gunshots and disgusting screams coming from the tavern. Clint instinctively knew that a group of uninvited guests had broken into the peaceful town.
Clint immediately rushed to the tavern, where a group of oddly dressed drunks were rampaging wildly. Many locals were beaten to death by them, while the tavern owner was shot dead by the gangster boss. Faced with Clint's warning, the gangsters were not afraid, but openly declared that the city would soon be taken by them and advised Clint not to get involved.
What the gangsters did made Clint angry, so he took out his gun and fought a fierce battle with them. Finally, except for one servant who escaped by chance, the rest of the gangsters were either killed by Clint's gun or lost their combat effectiveness and were captured without any resistance.
The next day at noon, Clint took the captured villains to the center of the city, preparing to give the criminals a just punishment as all the residents witnessed. The angry people also demanded that these foreigners be severely punished. But at that moment, the leader of the villains suddenly revealed his identity: it was Blandy, the nephew of Waldo Kane, the most powerful boss of Los Pecados. His men had fled to Los Pecados last night to deliver a message that if anything happened to him, his uncle would raze this little town to the ground for good and everyone would be buried with him.
Blandy had just finished his words, the angry crowd suddenly calmed down. They knew Sin City and Waldo Kane, and they knew their way of doing things better. Very quickly, the inhabitants hesitated. They advocated for Blandy's release and hoped that Blandy would "forget" his unpleasant experience in town.
In the eyes of Clint, who hated evil the most, it was nothing more than a compromise to criminals and a trampling on justice. Despite opposition from the locals, he throws Blandy into prison and announces that he will hang him three days later to comfort the tavern owner who was shot by him.
After just three days, a large number of gangsters had arrived on the outskirts of the city. They brought a lot of weapons, demanding that the locals immediately hand over Blandy to them and offer a large ransom as an apology.
The security of the city was greatly threatened by these criminals. Clint boldly came out and called on everyone to take up arms to fight the gangs and defend their homeland. But what Clint didn't expect was that the residents and colleagues he had tried to protect in the past had no plans to live and die with him. Instead, they blamed Clint for his stubbornness and inflexibility, which brought disaster to the city. After a hasty vote, the townspeople relieve Clint of his post as sheriff and run him out of town.
The locals then released Blandy and handed over a large ransom. But even so, the fierce Blandy still chose betrayal, leading the gangs to occupy the city and preparing to burn it down.
By then, Clint had carried his bags and walked away from town. However, as the fire in the small town rose into the sky, Clint couldn't ignore it. Even if the people he had protected with his life and blood betrayed him, the law of justice in his mind could not be erased by this, let alone stand by and watch the gangsters massacre the city. Even if he was alone, Clint would fight crime until the end.
At the time when the gangsters were unscrupulously destroying the city, Clint appeared in the city as if a soldier came from the sky. His invincible marksmanship and incredible drawing speed have become the most terrible nightmare of night criminals. After a fierce battle, Clint was marked and the gangsters also suffered heavy losses, protecting Blandy, who was injured by Clint, to escape.
The surviving residents realized their mistakes and asked Clint for forgiveness, hoping that Clint would stay and protect the town.
But Clint just smiled and didn't answer. That night, Clint got on his old donkey, quietly left town and headed to Sin City.
He knew that if he didn't go find Kane, Kane would come find him.
Did you know?
- Clint was the very first hero to be reworked. He's also the only one whose rework was aimed at nerfing him, as he was meant to be "a sniper good at stinging and consuming enemies from a distance, rather than a hero who charges in and deals damage to crowds like an assassin" (see Patch Notes 1.1.50).
- All of his old skills have been reused/repurposed for other heroes with a few changes:
- The passive and first skill have been reused for name = Granger's name = Whim and name = Rhapsody, respectively.
- The 2nd skill was reused for name = Karrie's name = Phantom Step.
- Ultimate was reused for nom = Nom de Claude = Blazing Duet.
- Clint currently has the most recasts of any hero in the game, with 6 recasts.
- The name Clint likely refers to Clint Eastwood, known for starring in and directing Western-style films and television series.
- Although it is by design a double-barreled shotgun, it behaves like a shotgun that fires in a straight line, instead of splaying like a typical shotgun.
- Before its rework, its name=Blind Smoke is the first and only skill in the game that can blind enemies, which would reduce the enemies' name=basic attack success rate. After its overhaul, this mechanic was completely removed from the game.
- Its name = Grenade Bombardment is one of the rare skills in the game that can stack uses.
- Clint's Valentine skin specifically references American hard rock band Guns N' Roses and Slash.
- Clint is one of the heroes who does not have a base skin. In the Chinese version of the game, he had an exclusive base skin randomly named "Rose Gunslinger" or "Rose Gun Hero".
- He is the first hero to have 2 types = Starlight: "Rock and Roll" and "Operator CL".
- His special "Badminton Champion" resembles Alucard's pre-revamped base skin "Lone Hero" from 2016-2018.
- He shares the same Japanese voice actor with Roger, Tsuyuzaki Wataru.

Combos
The combos recommended by the game, in the order to cast the skills.
Laning
In the laning phase, Clint should use his 1st Skill followed by an enhanced Basic Attack, then his 2nd Skill followed by another enhanced Basic Attack. This combo maximizes his damage, immobilizes the target, and moves Clint out of harm's way.
Teamfight
In teamfights, use Clint's Ultimate and enhanced Basic Attacks to whittle down enemies from a distance. Once the enemy is weakened from the constant bombardment, use Clint's 1st Skill, Basic Attack, 2nd Skill, and Basic Attack combo to finish them off.
