- The War Ax item is his weapon. If you sell a battle ax in the game, he will say "Goodbye, old friend."
- The Aulus redesign is unique because the new and old Aulus are separate characters. After his overhaul, the old Aulus retired definitively and gave his hatchet to the new Aulus, who is his successor.
- His revamped base skin "Berserker" has the same weapon as his pre-rework base skin. This is the only skin that did not receive its War Ax weapon rework rather than its current rework default skin.
- His other revamped skins (except his base skin) have the same entrance animation as his pre-revamp and retain the new Aulus model.

Use his 2nd Skill's second cast to get onto key targets, then activate his Ultimate and stay on them for continuous damage. Finally, use his enhanced Basic Attacks to clean up the battlefield.
When ganking in the early game, use Aulus's 1st Skill for Movement Speed and Control Immunity to quickly close in on the target. Then, use his 2nd Skill to slow them while weaving in Basic Attacks.
