Yin

A young martial artist on a journey to defeat the evil God that dwells within him. Among the four renowned members of Forsaken Light, a young man from the East stands out. Known as Yin, this simple and upright martial artist sometimes exudes a sinister aura, creating a stark contrast that leaves many wary of him. Few people know that his wild and violent behavior comes from the evil God, Lieh, who resides within him. This is why Yin left his home in the Riverlands of Cadia: to perfect himself in the Land of Dawn and find a way to defeat Lieh. But Yin's struggles in this foreign land had the opposite effect; as a being who thrives in chaos, the more Yin fights, the quicker Lieh can reclaim his power. Thus, Lieh began to pass his power onto Yin, watching him sink deeper into madness with every act of righteousness and chivalry, and driving him towards the self-destruction Lieh desired. However, even knowing the risks, Yin continues to exercise this power, because for him, abandoning his code and ignoring the suffering of others would not make him better than Lieh. Yin never backs down from a challenge, God or no God.

For those who have endured a lifetime of conflict and longed for peace, the Floral Falls, hidden by mystical mechanisms, is a true utopia where the past is forgotten. But Yin's story is a little different: he arrived here before his life really began. Many years ago, one spring day, the hermits of the valley found a bamboo basket floating on the river. If they hadn't looked closer, they wouldn't have seen the baby inside who would have made a single sound. While the hermits felt sorry for the abandoned boy, he faced the cruelty of the world with joyful laughter. Whoever sent him down the river left him without a name or identifiable memories. Perhaps they knew the child would drift to this isolated sanctuary and intentionally left no connection with the outside world? Regardless, the boy's life began anew in Floral Falls and he was given a name. In the spring breeze, the hermits named it Yin, in homage to the beginning of the lunar year, when life begins again. They also gave him a blessing: always look forward, always look upward, because every day is the start of something new.

Yin lived up to the expectations placed on him. Although growing up in Floral Falls wasn't easy, Yin was able to learn many valuable lessons. Solitary hermits, tired of worldly affairs, transmitted not only their martial arts but also their code of chivalry. Yin was a diligent student, but the more obedient he became, the more worried the hermits who raised him became. Unlike the other residents of Floral Falls, who had lived their lives and grown tired of the world, a boy should not be afraid of making mistakes. What good is the fist if you have nothing to fight for? Without tripping, how can you learn to hold on? If we never cling to anything, how can we learn to let go? But it was at this time, while practicing martial arts, that Yin met Wanwan of the Tang clan, who had come to explore this strange abode. For the first time, Yin met someone his own age. Wanwan, energetic and cheerful, gradually introduced him to what it is to be young and free. They always played together and time passed quickly. Yin began to see the vast and complex world outside the valley in a different light. Maybe getting out and seeing the world wouldn't be a bad idea? As a sensible child, Yin never expressed his thoughts to the elders, so he never realized that they shared his feelings.

Years later, when Wanwan left to fulfill her duties as an oriental fighter, Yin's heart became restless. His yearning for the outside world clashes with the traditions of the valley, leaving him torn between two worlds. He isolated himself and practiced alone, and his doubts gradually became a reserve of negative energy. And this negative energy, in turn, would attract disaster. One fateful afternoon, an ominous aura flew from across the valley and entered Yin's body before he could react. As Yin struggled to resist the invading consciousness, another figure suddenly appeared and sent Yin flying with a heavy blow. Seizing this opportunity, the evil consciousness took control of Yin's body and began to fight the alien. Yin found himself facing an unprecedented dilemma. He knew that if he failed to break free from what was controlling him, not only would he harm the person in front of him, but he would also bring calamity to Floral Falls. But the more he tried, the more he became a helpless spectator in his own body.

As Yin's spirit declined and the evil consciousness took more control, he began to consider a dark ultimatum. Perhaps making a tomb for this evil was the only way to save everyone... But just as Yin was about to accept this fate, a familiar voice echoed through the valley. "Yin! Don't you dare give up!" A young girl wielding a crossbow leapt onto the battlefield and stood between Yin and her opponent. It was Wanwan, his first friend, who brought him joy and a new outlook on life. As emotions flooded, an immense surge of determination and courage allowed Yin to break free from the evil's control. Seeing this, his opponent, a man with a dragon aura, stopped his attack. "Wanwan, I must face the great evil that lies within him. This boy is no match for him and will be devoured. I must prevent this disaster from turning into a calamity." But Wanwan showed no signs of hesitation. Yin had never seen this side of her and he was deeply moved. "Baxia once said the same thing about you, Yu Zhong. I believe in Yin, just like I believed in you." But Yu Zhong remained unmoved. “I won’t let anyone get in the way of my plans, not even you, and he—” At that moment, Yin, barely managing to stand up, stopped Yu Zhong mid-sentence. “I will never let my friends down!”

Yu Zhong explained everything to Yin, leaving Yin feeling shaken and lost for the first time in his life: as a vessel of the Evil God, he had unwittingly become the most dangerous threat to Flower Falls, and perhaps all of the Cadia Rivers. That night, Yin packed his things and left quietly in the moonlight. He didn't tell anyone about the words Yu Zhong had said to him: "If you have the will to take on this responsibility, then travel to the Moniyan Empire." There, you may find a way to defeat the Evil God..." Behind him, his mentors debated endlessly: "Letting such an innocent child face the Evil God alone is too cruel. "The white monkey sage may know a method to exorcise the evil god." “Did we raise this child all these years and then abandon him now?” After listening to these arguments, the white monkey proclaimed: “There are ways to deal with the Evil God, but the boy has already chosen his path. He chose to carry this burden. It's not up to us to stop it.

The young man left Floral Falls, ready to cross the vast and stormy sea. Before him was a whole new world, full of excitement and challenges.
