Patch 1.9.40: Engagement tank adjustments

Revised recharges on several roam tanks, adjustment of healing reduction and corrections to defensive objects.

This summary is drawn up from the official notes published by Moonton. He reformulates and comments on them; it does not replace them.

Weakened heroes

Khufra — the recharge of skill 1 increases at the start of the game. THE hero retains his role of responding to movements, but can no longer do so offer continuously before level eight. A change measure: it aims to frequency, not the effect.

Estes — ultimate cooldown increases at early levels. The logic is the same: reduce the number of times he can cancel a fight, without affect the volume of care per use.

Heroes strengthened

Franco — grappling hook projectile speed increases slightly. This does not changes nothing for the players who were already touching their grappling hooks; this makes the hero a little less punitive in learning.

Pharsa — ultimate damage increases at later levels. A attempt to compensate for its vulnerability to jungle assassins, without touch on its fragility.

Objects

Heal reduction — the effect now applies more quickly after the first blow hits. In practice, this makes the object significantly more reliable on intermittent damage carriers, which expands the list of heroes for which it is worth.

Ancient Armor — reduction against consecutive attacks is slightly reduced. The item remained the default choice for all tanks, whatever the opposing composition.

Overall reading

The patch tightens the frequency of skills that decide a fight, rather than their power. It's a healthier direction: it leaves the heroes identical to play, but makes the choice of timing more important. The tanks of roam remain strong, they just require more discipline.
