The meta lane by lane: what the September figures say
Thirteen of the twenty-eight heroes at the top of the tier list play in roam, the middle only has two: reading the meta lane by lane, between winning heroes, banned heroes and simply popular heroes.
The site's tier list is not handwritten: it combines each hero's win rate and a quarter of their ban rate. A hero can therefore be at the top because he wins, because he is feared, or both. The figures below are those recorded on September 11, 2026, all ranks combined unless otherwise stated, and each hero is placed in their main lane.
Out of 132 heroes measured, 17 are in S+ and 11 in S. Their distribution by lane is very uneven.
Roam: top half of the rankings
Thirteen of the twenty-eight heroes classified S+ or S play in roam, on patch 2.1.88, which strengthened most of the roamers. There we find the two best win rates in the game, Marcel (58.6%) and Rafaela (58.5%), but also three of the most banned heroes: Belerick (61%), Gloo (49%) and Estes (39%).
The paradox of the lane is elsewhere: the two most played roamers are Tigreal (45.6% wins) and Angela (48.5%), both below average. Belerick, Rafaela and Floryn, who follow in the number of games, are in S+.
To remember: in roaming, the most popular choice is not the most effective. Minotaur (54.5%) and Khufra (54.4%) earn more while being banned very rarely.
Jungle: a classification driven by fear
Five junglers are in S+ or S, but three of them owe it mainly to the ban. Hirara, arrived with patch 2.1.88, is banned in 63% of games, and in 81% at Mythic Glory rank. Hanzo (42% bans) and Saber (27%) are ranked S+ with a win rate around 50%.
The two highest-earning junglers among high-ranked heroes are Barats (53.0%) and Yi Sun-shin (52.0%). Yi Sun-shin is also the most played jungler, ahead of Gusion, whose win rate (48.9%) is significantly lower.
Keep in mind: if Hirara and Hanzo are banned, Barats and Yi Sun-shin remain the safe bets, two heroes whose win rate peaks in short games.
Experience lane: Paquito and Sun, then a tight peloton
Paquito is banned in every other game for a win rate of 50.9%, and Sun combines a good win rate (52.9%) with a third of bans. Masha has the best rate in the lane (56.5%), but in too few games for the figure to be reliable. Behind them, Lukas (53.3%) is the most effective of the heroes who are rarely banned and played enough to be measured reliably.
The most played hero in the lane, Dyrroth, is ranked A with 50.1% wins; Guinevere and Silvanna, also very well played, are at the same level.
Keep in mind: After the middle, the experience lane is where win rates are tightest. Aside from the two priority bans, the gap between popular heroes is small.
Middle lane: Eudora, then no one
Only two mages are classified S+ or S: Eudora, banned in 62% of games, and Valir (52.8% victories, almost never banned). At Mythic Glory rank, Eudora is even the only heroine in the lane above rank A.
The most played mages after Eudora are Vexana (50.3%), Novaria (48.8%), Nana (47.5%), and Zetian (51.0%): none are above rank A.
To remember: With Eudora banned, the middle has no dominant choice. Valir, best win rate in the lane, wins without attracting bans.
Golden Lane: three shooters, and a large gap behind
Melissa (57.0%), Miya (53.6%) and Hanabi (52.5%) are the only three shooters ranked S+ or S. Miya and Hanabi are the two most played heroes in the game, across all lanes. Just behind them in the rankings, no other shooter exceeds 50.6% wins.
Lesley, the fourth most played shooter, is at 46.4%: her victory rate is very low in short games and only exceeds 50% after the eighteenth minute.
To remember: the gold lane is the most concentrated: its two most played heroes are also the two most played in the game, and only three shooters exceed rank A.
What these numbers don't say
A win rate measures how well a hero performs as played, by all players who choose him. A hero who is rarely played, like Masha or Marcel, has a more fragile rate than a hero who is present in a lot of games. And a high ban rate signals fear, not necessarily real power: Kaja is ranked S+ with a win rate of 47.6%. To choose a hero, the sheet for each hero details its counters and its builds for the rank that concerns you.
